Equipment for Shot blasting "POST-CAB"

This “Post-Cab” equipment allows the abrasive to be recycled and cleaned for reuse.

It can be used on its own or within a sandblasting enclosure, enabling you to:
– recover the abrasive,
– recycle it,
– clean and de-dust it,
– store it in a 1,500-liter reservoir,
– and continuously feed one or more sandblasting units.

It is of robust construction and requires little maintenance.

Its installation is quick and its operation is simple.

It allows for the use of recyclable abrasive and avoids the constraints associated with disposable abrasive.

Abrasive recycling

This equipment handles the lifting and continuous dedusting of the abrasive, followed by its storage for the automatic supply of one or more pressure-fed sandblasting units; it consists of three parts:

A bucket elevator constructed from heavy-gauge special steel (5 mm and 10 mm thick) to withstand all types of abrasive materials. It features two 10 mm steel drums and a reinforced special rubber belt fitted with steel buckets, driven by a Siemens geared motor unit equipped with a tensioning device.

An abrasive dust separator, installed in the elevator head and constructed from 10 mm special steel baffle plates, allows the abrasive to fall successively through a chamber traversed by an airflow.

Fine waste is discharged into the dust collector, medium-sized waste into a bucket at the base of the elevator, and coarse waste into a sieve on the sandblaster.

A reinforced steel abrasive hopper with a 1,500-liter capacity serves as a reservoir to supply one or two sandblasting units.

This equipment is specially engineered and designed for the most aggressive abrasives, such as corundum.

It is fully armored, and all its equipment and materials have been selected to minimize maintenance.

Abrasive recovery

Our cabins can be equipped with an abrasive recovery system.

The most attractive solution for the client is the civil-engineered pit, as it relies on gravity to recover the abrasive—meaning no wear, no maintenance, no production downtime, and no operating costs.

Depending on our clients’ requirements and constraints, we equip our booths with one of the following recovery systems:
– localized recovery, at the rear or on one side of the booth;
– full recovery using a V-shaped pit with a recovery channel at the bottom;
– full recovery—with or without civil engineering work—featuring multiple channels.

The recovery channel located beneath the grating within the civil engineering structure ensures the continuous collection of abrasive material to supply the mechanical lift system.
The “Racl’air” channel consists of a rigid structure made of 140mm U-channels, housing a sliding frame mounted on rollers with sealed ball bearings. The scraper blades are attached to the frame via a special flexible connection.
It operates using a low-frequency reciprocating motion driven by a pneumatic cylinder, ensuring smooth, reliable, and quiet operation.
Debris and foreign objects (nuts, electrode stubs, bolts, etc.) are trapped by a perforated plate positioned beneath the grating.
